Michael Senneff (Retired)

Former partner

If there was ever a "go-to" attorney in Northern California, it was Mike Senneff.  Mike's experience in matters large and small, coupled with his intellect and personality, led to his recognition as the best in the field.  Recognized locally and nationally for his advocacy, Mike dedicated his time and passion equally between community and practice. With his retirement from our firm in July 2017, his legacy is carried on by his long-time partners as well as the scores of attorneys in the County who worked with him over the years.

Michael D. Senneff is a 1963 graduate of the University of San Francisco. Mr. Senneff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Bruce R. Thompson, United States District Judge, District of Nevada. He was thereafter associated with the firms Bledsoe, Smith, Cathcart, Johnson & Rogers of San Francisco; Spridgen, Barrett, Achor, Luckhardt, Anderson & James of Santa Rosa; and Ryersen, Comstock & Senneff of Santa Rosa. These associations extended from 1967 through 1977. Our present firm was established by Mr. Senneff in December, 1977.

Mr. Senneff is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a Master of the American Inns of Court and is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel, the California Trial Lawyers Association, and the Redwood Empire Trial Lawyers Association. He served as Chairman of the Planning Commissions of both the City of Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma, Chairman of the Charter Review Commission of the City of Santa Rosa twice, President of the Sonoma County Family YMCA, President of Becoming Independent and as Sonoma County Chairman of both of Governor Deukmejian's election campaigns.
