Marshall Bluestone

Marshall Bluestone, Partner

"Why sit by when you can participate?"  This has been Marshall's motto for years.  Marshall has been active in multiple youth volunteer organizations in our community. Coaching became a yearly cycle for him, with three boys involved in baseball, soccer, wrestling and football.  Marshall spent years on the United Way of the Wine Country Board of Directors, and has volunteered to tutor reading at a local elementary school through the United Way's "Schools of Hope" program.  [In fact, you should try it yourself to see how satisfying it is for the student as well as the tutor!]  Marshall also served on the Board of Directors for Tomorrow's Leaders Today (TLT), a teenage leadership program, and served on its programming committee.

Marshall obtained his B.A. Degree from the University of California at Davis in 1987 and graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1990. Mr. Bluestone has been an extern with the Sonoma County Superior Courts, past Vice President of the Sonoma County Young Lawyers Association and volunteers as a panelist for the Superior Court Pro Tem Settlement Conference Program.  He currently serves as an officer on the Sonoma County Family Law Steering Committee and participates in presentations for the Sonoma County Bar Association's Education Committee. Mr. Bluestone regularly practices in both federal and state courts with emphasis in employment, civil rights, personal injury, real estate, family law, business litigation and estate planning. He also represents several businesses in Sonoma County.
